We have a designated Sixth Form Centre in school. This is an exclusive space which serves the Sixth Form as a place for group and quiet work during private study periods and also an area for relaxation during break and lunchtimes. Sixth Form assemblies and various General Studies presentations will also be delivered in the Centre.
As KS5 students prepare for independence, we generally direct communications to our students and expect them to act responsibly in sharing information with their parents. There is a designated area for the Sixth form on the school website and also frequent bulletins and letters addressed to parents and guardians posted on the letters and documents page. It is especially helpful for us to communicate directly with parents and guardians via email. Our Family Support Adviser Amanda Moore also uses the ‘Teachers to Parents’ text service to communicate notifications to parents.
