LYCÉE
DE GARÇONS DE DEVONPORT:
CENTRE D’ÉTUDE INTERNATIONAL
Our International Study Centre in Uzel was the
inspiration of Gavin Peck who in 1991, with a small
committee of parents and governors, formed a Trust
to raise the funds to establish and maintain this
wonderful facility in Brittany. Uzel is a typical small
French town set in fine rural scenery 80km SE of
Roscoff and within easy driving distance of many
excellent historic, scientific and sporting activities.
In Y7 all the boys go to enjoy residential
experience and to have the chance to practice their
French further, to improve their orienteering, horseriding
and canoeing, to pursue field and course work or to undertake
work experience with local companies and in professional practices.
Parents and Friends of the School, can also book
to stay in the centre during school holiday time -
please contact the school for further details.
