Congratulations to the school community in making their decision about my successor. From a strong set of applications we interviewed five credible candidates and everyone involved was thoroughly tested.
The appointment of Dan Roberts is one that I whole-heartedly support and I wish him and the school every success next year.

Whole School Assembly
On Wednesday I promised to share the slides from my whole school assembly and the links to the videos I showed.
I was pleading for a balance between the virtual and natural world whilst extolling the exciting virtues of both in our school culture.
National Careers Week
Thank you to Sue Moreton, our Information, Advice and Guidance Co-ordinator, for arranging a wealth of speakers and visitors for our students this morning as part of National Careers Week 2015.
Welcoming our European Partners
We have enjoyed meeting two groups of guests in school this week.
Here are our French Exchange visitors enjoying a day on Dartmoor.
We have also met with our partners from Sweden. Ms Davidson said, “Although this was our last group of visiting teachers involved in the Comenius Regio project, our Physics department is soon to be embarking on a new project with our colleagues in Sweden involving students and teams at CERN: the European organisation for nuclear Research, physicists and engineers.”
