Academic Mentors

£19,000 - £21,000

We have a unique and exciting opportunity to recruit two experienced academic mentors to help support our students whose learning has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

From September 2022 we are seeking to appoint two mentors who have experience of supporting the learning of young people and who can demonstrate a proven track record of success.

Academic mentors will play an integral role in creating, preparing, delivering and monitoring small group tutoring sessions, and tracking the progress of students to ensure there are positive, measurable outcomes.

For an informal discussion with Dan Roberts, Headteacher, or to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Sarah Nicholson, Head’s PA, at sarah.nicholson@dhsb.org.

Please apply by completing the school application form by 9.00am on 17 June 2022. Interviews will be held the following week.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
