Sixth Form Administrator and Assistant to Head of Sixth Form

Grade D SCP 8 - 14 £24,702 to £27,334 (fte)


Hours of working are negotiable from 27.5 to 30 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)


Responsible to Office Manager (Support Services)


We are seeking to appoint a flexible and adaptable individual who works well under pressure and has experience of working with young people. Education sector experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.


The post holder will be expected to embrace the wider community aspects of the Sixth Form in supporting individual student wellbeing which in turn supports the achievement of outstanding academic outcomes

The post holder will have responsibility for authorising post-16 bursary payments, coordinating taxi transport for students attending Link Partnership schools.


The post holder will support the Head of Sixth Form in the delivery of key information to students and parents/carers and will be trained in how to use our database:Bromcom, input learning aims and maintain correct records for census data.

The minimum requirement for the post is term time only working (minimum 39 weeks to include non-pupil days and two enrolment days in August) with the quoted salary range prorated accordingly. Hours are negotiable from 27.5 – 30 per week.
