29.16 hours per week, 39 weeks per year with the possibility of extra hours for the right candidate
We are looking for a responsible and well qualified individual to help students with a variety of needs across the school.
The successful candidate should be resilient and have experience of working with young people who have complex needs. Experience and knowledge of working with autistic young people would be an advantage though not essential. The postholder will support our young people to access a full curriculum and this may include time spent both in the classroom and in our SEND base.
A passion to ensure the best outcomes and experiences for our students is essential.
This post is available for an immediate start and the salary is negotiable for an applicant who can offer additional experience or expertise.
The school’s SENCO and relevant outside agencies will support the post holder.
For an informal discussion with our SENCO, Jo Weaver, please contact Sarah Nicholson, Head’s PA at sarah.nicholson@dhsb.org.
Please apply by completing and returning the school application form by 9.00am on Monday 4 December 2023.
Interviews will be held later that week.
