Congratulations to DHSB Team Avanti who took part in the international F24 finals at the Rockingham Racing Circuit last weekend. The competition was organised by the Greenpower Trust.

The team finished in a very credible joint 36th place and were awarded the trophy for Best Newcomer.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

Thank you also to all members of staff who supported our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award students on their practice expedition last weekend.

Emotional Logic

We have received positive feedback following the well-attended Emotional Logic information evening for Year 7 parents led by Mrs Edwards and Mrs Moore.

Rugby

The DHSB U16 team secured a good victory on Tuesday evening against the St Boniface team. Mr Burt said, “An excellent match. Well done to both teams”.

Football

Mr Manley reports two great football matches on Wednesday with Year 11 beating Plymstock 3 – 2 and DHSB ‘A’ losing 8 – 5 after extra time to BRNC Dartmouth.
