6 September 2024

I hope that you all enjoyed some enjoyable time together as a family over the summer.

It has been a real joy seeing everyone over the last couple of days.

Everyone has returned in good spirits and it has been lovely to hear the chatter and laughter filling the school site.

Student News

We are inviting students and families to contribute to the Head's Blog over the next few weeks.

If you have tried a new activity or challenge during the summer then we'd love to hear about it. We also want to hear about student achievements.

Examples include sports, photography, new pets or new hobbies. We would also like to hear your book recommendations.

Please let us know by completing this Google Form

PTFA News

Welcome back everyone and hello to our new parents and carers! Our first meeting of the year is on Wednesday 25 September at 6.30pm in the Conference Room (directly behind the Visitor Reception).

Inevitably we lose valued members of the PTFA as their children leave school and we are in urgent need of some more. Please come along if you can - we'd love to meet you.

Refreshments will be provided (please email if you have special dietary requirements).

Help needed please - we are looking for helpers for the 11+ refreshments (hot/cold drinks and limited snacks - no cooking). Even if you can only make an hour that would be appreciated. Please email ptfa@dhsb org for more details. Thank you in advance.

A big thank you to Maria, Rachel, Smita and Atul for their help framing the 11+ certificates of achievement, labelling them and labelling the academic calendars, to be distributed. These items can both still be purchased online at https://www.dhsb.org/shop if you would like to buy them.

Any questions, please email ptfa@dhsb.org
