I am the Training and Education Leader for the Mars Wrigley Confectionery Plymouth site.
What route did you take up to this point?
I moved from being the Reliability and Maintenance Manager to the Training and Education Leader for the Mars Wrigley Confectionery Plymouth site.
Any significant crossroads?
Move from engineering has led to more breadth of knowledge of the business.
What have you learnt most about yourself?
That you can change your style of leadership considerably to support different learning styles.
What words of wisdom would you give to a student joining DHSB in Year 7?
Try your best and aim high.
And for a Sixth Former leaving DHSB
Immerse yourself in as many activities as possible.
Any fond memories of school you can share?
Winning the cross country races regularly in my early school years.
Do you have a message for any of your teachers?
I wouldn’t think that any of them are still around unfortunately – I left DHSB in 1976.
